Chipton-Ross is seeking 2 Advanced Technologist 4's for a contract opportunity in Ridley Park, PA.
100% remoteBASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
o Accredited Bachelor's Degree. o 5+ years' experience in data analysis, analytics engineering, or data modeling with a focus on manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, or quality data. o Strong SQL skills for querying, joining, aggregating, and optimizing performance on large datasets. o Proficiency with Python for data cleaning, feature engineering, automation, and custom analytics. o Demonstrated experience building dashboards and BI artifacts that communicate KPIs and analyses to stakeholders. o Proven ability to capture requirements, translate business problems into analytical solutions, and measure impact. o Strong analytical thinking, systems analysis, problem-solving, and communication, demonstrated by past projects.POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
We are seeking a data-driven analyst with deep domain experience in manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, or quality. The role emphasizes transforming operational data into actionable insights using SQL, Python, and BI tools, developing data models for reporting and analytics, and driving cross-functional decisions. Some exposure to semantic/data modeling or ontology concepts is helpful but not required.
Work statement is a non-managerial role, non-leadership role. Regular and predictable attendance is required. Successful completion of training is a contingency for this assignment - OJT or formal classroom training.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
o Experience in large enterprise environments and familiarity with tools such as Palantir Foundry, Protégé, or similar platforms. o Experience with manufacturing execution systems (MES), PLM, ERP, or quality management systems (QMS). o Critical thinker and methodical problem-solver. o Tenacity and proactive follow-through to drive issues to resolution. o Positive attitude and collaborative team player. o Excellent verbal and written communication for cross-functional engagement. o Systems thinker: ability to see upstream/downstream impacts of data and process changes. o Strong relationship management and stakeholder influence skills.REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience, 13 years' related work experience, etc.).WORK HOURS:
Full-Time/First Shift 7:00 AM - 4:00 PMADDITIONAL:
Domestic Travel required: 25% travel to STL, Mesa, Seattle, PHLEmployment will be contingent on clearing a background check. Must clear prior to start date.
