Chipton-Ross is seeking 20 Aviation Maintenance Technician B's for a contract opportunity in Jacksonville, FL.
100% on siteBASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
Ability to obtain security clearance is required for this position. 3-5 years of experience. 737 background. The ability to properly handle fiber. The ability to terminate and install wire bundles and read blueprint schematics. Ability to work without supervision. Open to military and/or corporate background. Regular and predicted attendance is required.POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Our Jacksonville facility is seeking Aviation Maintenance Technicians that are motivated to support a greater cause in directly impacting military warfighter readiness by providing critical maintenance repairs and modifications for our military customers. The professionals chosen to fill these positions will join our MRO and Component Operations organization, working as part of a team in support of our key programs such as military commercial derivatives, fighter aircraft and aircraft component maintenance, repair, and overhaul. The candidates chosen will be responsible for adherence to established processes, accurate and timely work recording and contractual/regulatory compliance. To ensure we continue to support our customers, we are looking for skilled aircraft maintenance professionals to join our team. Successful applicants will be based in Jacksonville, FL.
Project/day-to-day activities they will be working on: Aircraft electrical work on the P-8 Aircraft.
Successful completion of training is a contingency for this assignment - OJT or formal classroom training.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Standard workplace requirements to climb ladders, enter confined space, and ability to lift up to 35 lbs. This position requires an individual to work at heights utilizing fall protection equipment. Candidate must be able to obtain Fall Protection Certification. This is also contingency of assignment - Fall Protection Regulations - OSHA 1926, 191066, 1910 Subpart D.REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Accredited High school diploma or GED and typically 1 or more years' related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.WORK HOURS:
MUST BE OPEN TO WORKING 1st, 2nd or 3rd SHIFT.PER CLIENT:
