Description

ChiptonRoss is seeking an Inspector for a contract opportunity in Oldsmar, FL.



BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • Must be able to work under a microscope for long periods of time (up to 10Hrs)
    • Must be able to sit at work station for long periods of time
  • Must have prior experience either in inspection visually inspecting solder connections or as an assembly build operator with experience on circuit card assemblies in accordance with IPCA610 & IPCJSTD001 requirements.
  • Minimum 2 year solder/visual Inspection experience, or in lieu of quality inspection minimum 2 years manufacturing/soldering experience of Electronic Assemblies.
  • Minimum 1 year conformal coating experience
  • Must be detailed and Quality and process oriented, proficient at interpreting drawings, diagrams, parts lists, navigating and understanding IPC standards, revision control, reference documents and work instructions.
  • Team player with strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Proficient with Personal Computers. Interfaces effectively and diplomatically with all levels of manufacturing when addressing quality defects.

    POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Uses predetermined methods, inspection operations and prescribed specifications to visually inspect solder and conformal coating of circuit card assemblies IAW
  • IPC-A-610 & IPC-J-STD-001 requirements.
    • Role will incorporate use of drawings and written •inspection instructions.
  • Use of various measuring devices (dial indicators, preset micrometers, scales, etc) to 100% visually inspect circuit card assemblies to manufacturing and industry specifications including IPC and related reference documents and standards.

  • Accredited HSD/GED

  • Full-Time
  • 4/10 work schedule
  • 1st Shift


    • Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
