Chipton-Ross is seeking a Warehouse Associate for a contract opportunity in Indianapolis, IN. .
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):- 18 years or older
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record- Previous mechanical/hands-on experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Good verbal and written communication skills Basic administrative skills Ability to use a computer to perform assignments Must be able to read and write English Must pass a medical exam as outlined in the supplier guide
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide service support for products in the service center Assist in preparing movable medical equipment and support surfaces for rental Engage in warehouse activities including bed decontamination, product cleaning, shipping, and receiving Maintain accurate onsite inventory Conduct general housekeeping and 5S activities Follow Standard Operating Procedures and Continuous Improvement standards Collaborate with sales, coworkers, and other departments Maintain a clean and safe work environment Participate in safety training and medical testing Operate within company, government, and customer safety regulations Complete all other duties as assigned by supervisor
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
Experience in warehouse or medical equipment handling Strong organizational skills Customer service mindse
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs Ability to stand, walk, kneel, stoop, and climb Good vision and hearing required
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Accredited High School Diploma or GED
WORK HOURS :Full-TimeEmployment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
