Chipton-Ross is seeking an Assembler for a contract opportunity in Archbald, PA.



BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • 2-5 years of circuit card assembly experience or technical degree.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience Soldering experience is a requirement.
  • POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • The role involves performing both repetitive and non-repetitive production assembly tasks on electronic and mechanical components such as modules, boards, panels, frames, and cables, including precision electro mechanical assemblies, wiring, and advanced soldering. Responsibilities include assembly of circuit cards, harnesses, operating equipment like laser wire strippers and coax processing tools, and assembling, installing, and terminating complex harnesses.
  • The position requires detailed soldering of micro sub miniature parts, interpreting diagrams, schematics, and operation sheets, and expertise in circuit card assembly-hand populating components, SMT and wave soldering, through hole work, microscope use, and card coating.
  • Must have the ability to multi-task, sit or stand for extended periods of time, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
  • REQUIRED EDUCATION:

  • Accredited HSD/GED
  • WORK HOURS:

  • Full-Time
  • 4/10 work schedule
  • 1st Shift


  • Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
