Chipton-Ross is seeking a Project Manager for a contract opportunity in Palmdale, CA.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
- Must have an an Active Secret Clearance
5 years experience running projects greater than $3 million in value.- 5 years experience working projects and coordinating with cross functional teams including production operations (manufacturing teams, engineering teams, and quality).
- Experience must include working projects in a manufacturing environment.
- 3 years experience working in JIRA and Microsoft project.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and production operations management.
- Reviews status of projects; manages schedules and prepares status reports, assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
- Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project mangers, and production teams.
- Managing cross functional projects across multiple teams and the program
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
- PMP certification is preferred, but not required
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
- Accredited BS degree in business or engineering required.

- Full-Time
- 4/10 work schedule
- 1st Shift
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
