Chipton-Ross is seeking a Project Manager for a contract opportunity in Palmdale, CA.



BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • Must have an an Active Secret Clearance
  • 5 years experience running projects greater than $3 million in value.
  • 5 years experience working projects and coordinating with cross functional teams including production operations (manufacturing teams, engineering teams, and quality).
  • Experience must include working projects in a manufacturing environment.
  • 3 years experience working in JIRA and Microsoft project.
  • POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and production operations management.
  • Reviews status of projects; manages schedules and prepares status reports, assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
  • Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project mangers, and production teams.
  • Managing cross functional projects across multiple teams and the program
  • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

  • PMP certification is preferred, but not required
  • REQUIRED EDUCATION:

  • Accredited BS degree in business or engineering required.
  • WORK HOURS:

  • Full-Time
  • 4/10 work schedule
  • 1st Shift


  • Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
