Chipton-Ross is seeking a Risk Manager for a contract opportunity in Skaneateles, NY.



BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • 10 plus years of experience.
  • Formal systems engineering environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate with a wide set of stakeholders (Quality, Systems/Risk, PM, RA, Marketing, etc.).
  • Demonstrated understanding of the end-to-end process of identifying stakeholder needs, translation to Design Inputs and tracing these to the Design Outputs.
  • Demonstrated understanding of operational, functional & physical architectures & their use for analyzing hazardous situations.
  • Demonstrated understanding of Systems Engineering driven process for achieving ISO 14971 compliance.
  • POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

    This position will assist our Medical Manufacturing client in supporting risk management activities for their Front Line Care Patient Monitoring Portfolio. You will act as a subject matter expert to assist functional owners of elements of the risk management file with planning and updates. All work shall be performed in accordance with client policies and procedures for design control and risk management.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

  • Medical device experience (Quality Management System).
  • INCOSE Certified.
  • Software development.
  • Software/Electrical Engineering development.
  • REQUIRED EDUCATION:

  • Accredited Masters in Systems Engineering.
  • WORK HOURS:

  • Full-Time
  • 07:00am-06:00pmCST (flexible)


  • Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
