Chipton-Ross is seeking a Test Engineer 3 for a contract opportunity in Linthicum, MD.



BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

o Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 8 years of experience. o Working knowledge in one of the following languages: C++, Winforms. o Experience in developing unit tests, refactoring code, and smoke tests. o Demonstrated problem solving and troubleshooting skills. o This position requires the applicant to be a U.S. citizen.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Looking for a Test Engineer to support our Advanced Technology Software Engineering Team. As a member of the Software Engineering department, you'll work in a fast-paced team environment alongside physicists, superconducting foundry engineers, and software engineers to make our technologies a reality. Responsibilities:
o Stand-up software test architecture for a legacy COTS application. o Collaborate with developers, SM, and PO's to identify critical tests. o Write and perform all tests to ensure quality software products prior to software release.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

o Experienced in creating and deploying a test architecture for legacy applications. o Ability to work independently and as part of a fast-paced team. o Utilized Atlassian software suite. o Experience working within an agile scrum framework.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

Bachelor's Degree in a STEM discipline is required. School must be accredited.

HOURS:
9/80A schedule. This position will serve on-site at Advanced Technology Laboratory (ATL) in Linthicum, MD.



Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
