Chipton-Ross is seeking 3 Mechanics for a contract opportunity in Mesa, AZ.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
Proficiency in reading, and writing in English along with the ability to be pass certification classes including Torque, Safetying Practices, Mixing and Sealant.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Daily tasks include repair, modification and or assembly of AH-64 mechanical components. Assists with disassembly of systems components to support the correction of failures or implement changes. Assists with basic troubleshooting of pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components. Performs validation/verification testing of systems and components. Fabricates and modifies aerospace products according to specifications. Assists with performs tasks associated with the safe handling of a simple aerospace vehicle (e.g. jacking, towing, system operations). Works under supervision. Regular and predictable attendance is required
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Must be able to lift 35lbs and remain standing for extended periods of time.
EDUCATION:
Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. high school diploma/GED).WORK HOURS:
FULL TIME/FIRST SHIFT; 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM. 4/10 WORK WEEK.Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
