100% onsiteBASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
o Regular and predictable attendance is required. o More than 2 years of experience with engineering and design software (i.e. CAD/3D packages (CATIA, SolidWorks, CREO, etc.). o More than 3 years of experience working conceptual, preliminary and detailed design including 2D drawings and 3D deliverables.POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Client is hiring a Lab Test Technical Designer to join the Systems Laboratory Test Design/Build team in USA - Tukwila, WA. The team is responsible for developing and maintaining engineering product definition for Systems laboratory test requirements and instrumentation of commercial and military programs. The team prepares design layouts and modifies existing designs. Develops engineering product definition. Develops statements of work, including design requirements, cost and schedule estimates. Coordinates and develops work transfer packages. Contributes to the integration of product definition across internal and external business partners to provide a functional end-product. Investigates and resolves moderately-complex manufacturing process, or engineering related issues. Verifies accuracy of engineering data produced by others.

This job supports the engineering and manufacture of company products and programs. Tasks involved within this job group include the fabrication and testing of electrical/electronic assemblies, developing engineering product definition with design software, drafting, detailing instructions and media for fabrication needs, creating tool designs, analyzing manufacturing data to recommend changes to tooling issues, repairing and maintaining facilities equipment, designing and documenting tests of components and materials, and developing and providing technical support and training to customers.
o Participates on Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to integrate technical solutions across multiple disciplines. o Support Preliminary Design Review (PDRs) and Critical Design Reviews (CDRs) meetings. o Close coordination with design, manufacturing and fabrication teams. o Manage drafting requirements and incorporate drawing changes to support business goals. o Support the development, maintenance or modification of systems, components and installation designs to meet requirements and specifications. o Review design requirements and modifications of Mechanical & Structural assemblies and installations. o Review Configuration Management Requirements for Compliance prior releasing Lab test drawings. o Work amongst cross-functional teams.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
o Experience working in multidisciplinary teams, a strong desire to work with technical and non-technical audiences, and be a self-starter. o Experience in Test and Evaluation Engineering.REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Accredited AA degree in related discipline and typically 3 or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.WORK HOURS:
Full-Time/First Shift 7:00 AM - 3:30 PMADDITIONAL:
Possible OT opportunities.Employment will be contingent on clearing a background check. Must clear prior to start date.
