Chipton-Ross is seeking 10 Design and Analysis Engineers (Level 3) for a contract opportunity in Everett, WA.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
- 3+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience working in an electrical design engineering environment (with emphasis on electronic and electrical systems design and analysis).
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position will specifically involve working with Cabin Systems, which encompasses interior lighting, passenger address systems, seatback video, passenger connectivity, satellite connections, in-flight entertainment, and more. Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Associate and Experienced Electronic Systems Design and Analysis Engineers.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Experience within Electrical Systems hardware and software design.
- Knowledge of FAA certification.
- Experience with system design and integration during an airplane development program.
- Experience with Model Based Development tools.
- Good communication — clear, concise, timely exchange of information; effective verbal, written, and listening skills; Well organized — plans work, prioritizes tasks, keeps documentation and schedules tidy; Teamwork / collaboration — works constructively with others, shares credit, resolves conflicts.
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor's degree and typically 5 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a Master's degree with typically 3 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a PhD degree with experience in an engineering classification). ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
TRAVEL Some domestic and international travell may be .required.
WORK HOURS FULL TIME/FIRST SHIFT; 7:00 AM - 3:30 PMEmployment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
