Chipton-Ross is seeking a Test & Evaluation Lab Tech 1 for a contract opportunity in Berkeley, MO.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
- Experience with electronic schematics and/or drawings.
- Experience with crimping, soldering, and using multimeter.
- Basic Electrical and Mechanical knowledge and work experience.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Participates in test design and performs routine procurement, fabrication and assembly of components, test fixtures and test systems. Facilitates systems integration, fabrication and modification; supports system pre-test setup, integration, checkout, and post test tear-down. Conducts routine tests, analyzes data and documents results. Troubleshoots basic laboratory and test-related problems. Works under close supervision. Describe the project/day-to-day activities they will be working on:
- We support many different programs by building electronic test equipment - Contractor is expected to: Interpret Engineering Drawings, Select Tools and Material, Fabricate per Drawing Training and mentorship will be provided.REQUIRED EDUCATION:
- Accredited High School Diploma or GED.
- AA is not required, it is considered a plus.
**Education MUST be accredited**WORK HOURS:
- Full-Time
- Start time 07:00am-08:00am; end time 03:00pm-04:30pm
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
