Chipton-Ross is seeking a Test Engineer for a contract opportunity in Orlando, FL.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
- Must have an active Secret Clearance
- 3+ years experience with common lab equipment: Digital Multimeters, Oscilloscopes, Power Supplies
- 3+ years experience with Microsoft Office applications
- 3+ years experience with Electronic Testing
- 3+ years experience with User Acceptance Testing
- 3+ years experience with Electrical Troubleshooting
- 3+ years experience with Mechanical/Electrical Concepts
- 3+ years experience writing technical documents and end-user documentation
- 3+ years experience with Evaluating Technical Reports
- 1+ years experience with Engineering Design Principles
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Generating and executing sub-system and system level integration and test plans and procedures
- Supporting the preparation of test equipment and facilities required for test events
- Supporting Design Verification Tests (DVT) and Qualification tests, including Environmental Stress Screening (ESS), Electromagnetic Interference (EMI), and Functional Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP) for program hardware
- Support Failure investigations and resolution of hardware, software and test equipment anomalies that have occurred during system and subsystem testing
- Provide engineering evaluations of redesigns or upgrades to the existing test equipment
- Prepare for and Support Test Readiness Reviews (TRRs) and final reports/presentations
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
- Ability to analyze complex designs & create test solutions that optimize quality/cost/schedule variables.
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation) and able to communicate effectively with external customer and internal leadership about technical status/issues.
- Familiar with uncommon lab equipment: pressure and vacuum chambers, optical measurement equipment
- Foundational knowledge of troubleshooting analog and digital electronics
- Experienced writing skills for Test Plans, Test Procedures and Test Reports.

Full-Time 4/10 work schedule 1st ShiftEmployment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
