Chipton-Ross is seeking a Product Data Management Engineer 4 for a contract opportunity in Berkeley, MO.
100% ONSITEBASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
o Ability to obtain security clearance is required for this position. o 9+ years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience. o 5+ years using Excel to perform data analysis. o 5+ years using data collection techniques.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Client is seeking a Lead Product Data Management Engineer (Level 4) to support the Systems Engineering Integration & Test (SEIT) Team in Berkeley, MO. The successful candidate will be responsible for generate technical data packages (TDP) containing contractually deliverable product design definition data to satisfy Customer requirements in compliance with Client practices. Tasks include: interpretation and communication of TDP requirements and work scope, utilization of Product Data Management (PDM) system and other IT systems/resources to generate TDP content, evaluation of data markings, and providing TDP guidance.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
o Demonstrated interest in personal learning and development as well as process improvement. o Ability to accomplish tasks through formal channels and informal networks; an understanding of the cultures of organizations and ability to apply this information in a way that strengthens the organization's strategic plan and profitability. o Attention to detail. o Excellent spoken and written communication across organizations. o Use of scripting to collect data.
EDUCATION:
Minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), computer science, engineering data science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications. In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
FULL TIME/FIRST SHIFTWORK HOURS:
7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
MISCELLANEOUS:
Domestic travel may be required up to 10% of the time.Employment will be contingent on clearing a background check. Must clear prior to start date.
