Chipton-Ross is seeking a Flight Software Test Engineer for a contract opportunity in Huntsville, AL.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
- Experience in embedded software test development using MBSE model development
- Python , C, or C++ development experience (Prefer Python)Agile development using Jira or similar tool
- Experience with IBM DOORS, Cameo System Modeler (SysML/UML), Git/GitLab (or similar configuration management tool)
- Active/Final Secret Clearance
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in an Agile/Scrum environment
- Ability to perform software integration and test development activities
- Experience with full software life cycle development including SW design, architecture and integration & test
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
- Accredited Bachelor's degree in computer science, Aerospace Engineering or other related degree program from an accredited college/university
WORK HOURS:
- Full-Time
- 4/10 work schedule
- 1st Shift
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
