Chipton-Ross is seeking a Flight Software Test Engineer for a contract opportunity in Huntsville, AL.



BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • Experience in embedded software test development using MBSE model development
  • Python , C, or C++ development experience (Prefer Python)Agile development using Jira or similar tool
  • Experience with IBM DOORS, Cameo System Modeler (SysML/UML), Git/GitLab (or similar configuration management tool)
  • Active/Final Secret Clearance
  • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in an Agile/Scrum environment
  • Ability to perform software integration and test development activities
  • Experience with full software life cycle development including SW design, architecture and integration & test
  • REQUIRED EDUCATION:

  • Accredited Bachelor's degree in computer science, Aerospace Engineering or other related degree program from an accredited college/university
  • WORK HOURS:

  • Full-Time
  • 4/10 work schedule
  • 1st Shift


  • Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
