Chipton-Ross is seeking a Writer/Editor (Level 4) for a contract opportunity in Renton, WA.



BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

o 3-5 years direct experience with tech writing. o Aerospace experience. o 3-5 years technical process knowledge (in any discipline). o Regular and predictable attendance is required.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Client is working to update process and procedures in order to enhance the readability, comprehension and integration of our documents across all levels of the company. The individual assigned to this task will help support analysis of the current reading level of the document, incorporate suggestions, revisions and improve the process of writing architecture in an effort make things easier to understand. The goal and strategy will be to simplify the document through robust, clear requirements using tables, images, and figures to help with the reader's comprehension. There are several documents in scope, broken down by business process swim-lanes that will be tackled over the next couple of years.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

o Familiar with manufacturing, quality o Project management o Familiar with generative AI

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

Accredited Bachelor's degree and typically 10 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 8 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

WORK HOURS FULL TIME/FIRST SHIFT; 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM


Employment will be contingent on clearing a background check. Must clear prior to start date.
