Chipton-Ross is seeking a Java Full Stack and AWS DevOps Developer 3 for a contract opportunity in Hazelwood, MO.
Hybrid - current expectation is on site once a month, but there is potential for onsite requirement 3 days per week.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
o Ability to obtain security clearance is required for this position. o 5+ years of professional experience in software development. o 3+ years of professional experience in AWS DevOps. o 3+ years of professional experience in Java Full Stack Development. o 1+ years of professional experience in Oracle. o 1+ years of professional experience in AI Code Assisted Software Engineering. o 1+ years of professional experience in Agile Software Engineering.POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Client is seeking an Experienced Java Full Stack and AWS DevOps Developer to join our Manufacturing Quality Information Technology Team.
A successful candidate will bring relevant and practical software engineering experience from previous roles to their new position in support of the full software life cycle. The position will be responsible for full stack development and maintenance of multiple existing Manufacturing Quality Enterprise applications. The ideal candidate has a growth mindset, initiates improvements and innovations, demonstrates adaptability, executes to organizational strategy, and has a strong interest in learning new technologies and the Client Manufacturing Quality business processes.
Candidates must reside within a commutable distance from a Client site in either Seattle, St. Louis, or Charleston.
o Maintain multiple software systems -Development, Deployment, and Maintenance of multiple Java/Oracle applications -Development, Deployment, and Maintenance of multiple applications in other development languages and technologies, learning them as needed -System security compliance -System technical debt remediation -System Change and Configuration Management -Production support; work across the enterprise to resolve software and infrastructure issues -Support regulatory compliance and quality audits -Continuous learning of system functionality and infrastructure, business operation processes, and new technologies and methodologies o Setup, migrate, optimize, and maintain AWS DevOps environments for C#/SQLServer and Java/PostgreSQL Applications -Support provisioning and configuration of development, test, and production environments and deployment of application components -Build, test, and deploy automation, monitoring and analysis solutions -Identify and lead investigations of technical and reliability issues; create and recommend process improvements -Build and integrate complex software tools to improve reliability and scalability -Develop and document best practices for provisioning, platform scaling, configuration management, monitoring, and troubleshooting o Execute to Client IT Strategies & Objectives -AWS Cloud migration -DevOps -Scaled Agile Software Engineering -AI Code Assistant Software Engineering -AutomationPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
o Experience and proficiency in multi-system data integrations. o Experience and proficiency in ADO, JIRA, GitLab. o Experience and proficiency in Coverity and NetSparker. o Effective, comprehensive communication skills, written and verbal. o Self-directed, Maintains a productive sense of urgency, makes progress on multiple priorities, and delivers as planned. o Constructively collaborates with teammates, business partners, and IT Infrastructure and Operation partners. o Has a growth mindset, initiates improvements and innovations, demonstrates adaptability, executes to organizational transformation, and has a strong practice of continuous technical and business operations professional development.REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Typically, 5 or more years' related work or military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.WORK HOURS:
Full-Time/First Shift 6:00 AM - 2:00 PMADDITIONAL:
Potential for minimal domestic travel, less than 10%. HYBEmployment will be contingent on clearing a background check. Must clear prior to start date.
