Chipton-Ross is seeking a Quality Control Technician for a contract opportunity in Chelmsford, MA.



BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • Must have a thorough knowledge of all paperwork/documentation associated with the aforementioned inspection functions, also must be able to properly document in a neat and legible manner, all types of errors or discrepancies found.
  • •Must have a thorough knowledge of the correct procedures to follow and precautions to take when performing their work in order to prevent damage to equipment and/or material and injury to self and/or others.
  • Must have a thorough knowledge of blueprint readings/interpretation, math and instrument reading as well as a complete understanding of wiring diagrams.
  • Must know how to use basic measuring equipment and instruments used to continuity check various assemblies/components including basic personal computing literacy.
  • POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Performs all types of inspections to support all phases of assembly and manufacturing, including but not limited to subcontracted and/or purchased parts.
  • Is required to know and fully understand the workmanship acceptance criteria used on the production floor.

  • Must maintain a neat and orderly work/inspection area.
  • Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.
  • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

  • Active J-STD-001 certification
  • Active IPC-610 certification
  • REQUIRED EDUCATION:

  • Accredited HSD/GED
  • WORK HOURS:

  • Full-Time
  • 4/10 work schedule


  • Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
