Chipton-Ross is seeking a Quality Control Technician for a contract opportunity in Chelmsford, MA.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
- Must have a thorough knowledge of all paperwork/documentation associated with the aforementioned inspection functions, also must be able to properly document in a neat and legible manner, all types of errors or discrepancies found.
•Must have a thorough knowledge of the correct procedures to follow and precautions to take when performing their work in order to prevent damage to equipment and/or material and injury to self and/or others.- Must have a thorough knowledge of blueprint readings/interpretation, math and instrument reading as well as a complete understanding of wiring diagrams.
- Must know how to use basic measuring equipment and instruments used to continuity check various assemblies/components including basic personal computing literacy.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Performs all types of inspections to support all phases of assembly and manufacturing, including but not limited to subcontracted and/or purchased parts.
Is required to know and fully understand the workmanship acceptance criteria used on the production floor.- Must maintain a neat and orderly work/inspection area.
- Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
- Active J-STD-001 certification
- Active IPC-610 certification
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
- Accredited HSD/GED
WORK HOURS:
- Full-Time
- 4/10 work schedule
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
