Chipton-Ross is seeking a Software Engineer for a contract opportunity in Orlando, FL.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
- Must have the ability to obtain a secret clearance
- Hands on experience with Terra Vista.
- Including setting up projects and buildings databases.
- Understand workflows: Importing data, editing vectors/3D models, setting LODs, running buildings)
- CDB creation with Terra Vista, CDB (Critical Skillset)
- CDB Specs & Structure Knowledge
- Solid grasp of Common Database specifications ( structures, layers, folder layout, versioning, etc)
- Experience producing CDB outputs from source
- GIS/imagery/elevations data
- Source data attribution and preparation for CDB creation
- Geospatial Data Preparation & Management.
- Work with imagery, elevation, and vector data.
- Use tools like ArcGIS, QGIS, Global Mapper, GIMP & Photoshop
- Data Conversion & Interop-ability
Importing heterogeneous source formats and resolving projection/LOD mismatches Exporting or integrating into other standard and formats (e.g. Open Flight)POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prep source data provided by customer for CDB creation through Terra Vista, support automation of source data prep, support troubleshooting and remediation of current CDB of creation issues.
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
- Accredited HSD/GED

- Full-Time
- 4/10 work schedule
- 1st Shift
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
