Chipton-Ross is seeking 2 Numerical Control Programmer 5's for a contract opportunity in Hazelwood, MO.
100% on site.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
- Ability to read, understand, and interpret engineering drawings. - 12 + years work-related experience with a Bachelor's degree OR 10+ years of work-related experience with a Master's Degree OR work-related experience with a PhD.POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Consults with internal and external stakeholders to develop technical requirements for numerical control and manufacturing processes. Identifies equipment and approaches, ensures accommodation of numerical control programming and resolves manufacturing or production process concerns. Manages implementation of new and revised computing applications for design, machining or inspection systems. Trains and mentors others. Works under consultative direction.
Selected candidates will provide numerical control, machining and programming technical expertise. They will create, verify and revise Machine Control Data (MCD), geometry and documentation that directs the operations for a complete spectrum of numerically controlled multi-axis machines required to manufacture aerospace components. The Ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative team environment and be comfortable handling a product line from Engineering concept, NC programming, troubleshooting and final execution on the shop floor.
· Provides numerical control, machining, and programming technical experience to the Auburn Fabrication Team. · Plans, creates, verifies, and revises Machine Control Data (MCD), geometry, and documentation that directs the operations for a complete spectrum of numerically controlled machinery (primarily metals machining). Works under general direction.REQUIRED EDUCATION:
12 + years work-related experience with a Bachelor's degree OR 10+ years of work-related experience with a Master's Degree OR work-related experience with a PhD. Degree(s) must be in a related field, such as Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering Technology.WORK HOURS:
Full-Time/First Shift 8:00 AM - 5:00 PMEmployment will be contingent on clearing a background check. Must clear prior to start date.
