Chipton-Ross is seeking an Engineering Aide for a contract opportunity in Fort Worth, TX.



BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • 3+ years of experience reading and understanding electrical and mechanical drawings.
  • 3+ years of experience with J-STD-001 & IPC-610 processes
  • 3+ years of experience with surface mount technology and processes. Including hand soldering of individual components and fine pitch connectors.
  • 3+ years of experience with electronic hand tools in manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to read and understand electrical and mechanical drawings.
  • Familiarity with J-STD-001 & IPC-610 processes

  • Familiarity with electronic hand tools in manufacturing processes.
    • •Ability to follow complex work instructions and specifications.
  • Ability to Assemble electrical harnesses and chassis assemblies

    • POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Primary responsibility is repair or assembly of electrical components in support of production aircraft.
  • Provides technical support to engineers on a variety of technical tasks.
    • •Produces engineering documentation, reports, drawings (flow charts, block diagrams, and schematics).
  • Uses personal computer in performance of analyses and development of documentation/reports.
  • May conduct tests and record data to assist with engineering evaluation or analysis.
  • Consist of engineering hardware fabrication support, troubleshooting, testing and basic Laboratory operations responsibility.
    • Some climbing on ladders may be required as well as lifting up to 25lbs.

    REQUIRED EDUCATION:

  • Accredited HSD/GED

  • Full-Time
  • 4/10 work schedule
  • 1st Shift


    • Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
