Chipton-Ross is seeking multiple Electrical Assemblers for a contract opportunity in Torrance, CA.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
- Ability to use AMP, D.M.C and Molex hand crimpers and/or Crimping machines to meet or exceed IPC-620 guidelines.
- Ability to solder thru-hole PC boards and D-subminiature connectors.
- Familiarity with Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) prevention methods and IPC-620 guidelines for electronics manufacturing acceptance/defect criteria.
- Ability to use signal generators, oscilloscopes, voltmeters, and other test equipment to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and geometric tolerances.
- Basic mathematic skills include but are not limited to adding, subtracting, multiplication, division, geometry and algebra for calculating material fabrication.
- Must be capable of using calipers and basic measuring tools.
- Full compliance with the Company's DOT Antidrug and Alcohol Misuse Prevention Program.
Regular and predictable attendance.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Electrical Assemblers' duties include crimping, soldering, and wire routing for helicopter cable, wire harness and Electro-mechanical fabrication in accordance with manufacturing procedures and other data acceptable to or approved by the FAA.
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
- Accredited HSD/GED
WORK HOURS:
- Full-Time
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
