Chipton-Ross is seeking a Field Engineer for a contract opportunity in Los Angeles, CA.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
1-3 years experience reading engineering drawings and schematics is required. 1-3 years experience with electronic troubleshooting, with the ability to fault-isolate to individual components is required. 1-3 years experience with electro-optical sensor hardware and software is required 1-3 years experience with commercial and/or military electronics maintenance, including hand tool operation and maintenance is required.POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
The technical support individual will be responsible for completing hands-on work, including testing, troubleshooting, and repairing electronic hardware in a fast-paced environment. This role requires the ability to lift up to 35 pounds and perform various tasks, such as working with bonding adhesives, weighing, measuring, and mixing chemicals, as well as soldering and de-soldering circuit boards and harnesses. Additionally, the individual will utilize hand tools to complete tasks and operate commercial and program-specific test equipment. To diagnose and repair both electronic and mechanical hardware, they will use written procedures, engineering drawings, and diagrams. The successful candidate will be capable of performing tests, diagnosing issues, and repairing electronic hardware with limited supervision.REQUIRED EDUCATION:

Full-Time 4/10 work schedule 1st ShiftEmployment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
