Chipton-Ross is seeking a Mechanical Engineer for a contract opportunity in Andover, MA.



BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • Interim Security Clearance
  • Experience in electronic packaging for military applications.
  • Experience with design and documentation of Circuit
  • Card Assemblies, Printed Circuit Boards and Cabling.
    • Experience with CREO and Windchill
  • Knowledgeable of GD&T
    • Familiar with Change Board processes and documentation control

    POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Mechanical Engineer to support the design, development and manufacture of complex microwave electronics subsystems at our campus in Andover, Massachusetts.
  • We incorporate the use of modern design tools in the relevant design disciplines of RF/microwave, analog/digital, and mechanical/thermal engineering.
  • Also on premises are state-of-the-art electronics manufacturing facilities, and ESS test capabilities.
  • This exciting role will offer the opportunity to work with our top industry leading multi-disciplined professionals.

    • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

  • BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Experience with electronics packaging for microwave electronics.
    • •Experience with CREO, Windchill, Zuken. •Hands on experience with building and testing electronic assemblies. Knowledge of GD&T is preferred. Knowledge of materials and processes used in electronics is preferred.

    REQUIRED EDUCATION:

  • Accredited AA Degree with 10 years experience or more

  • Full-Time
  • 4/10 work schedule
  • 1st Shift


    • Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
