Chipton-Ross is seeking a Mechanical Engineer for a contract opportunity in Andover, MA.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
- Interim Security Clearance
- Experience in electronic packaging for military applications.
- Experience with design and documentation of Circuit
- Card Assemblies, Printed Circuit Boards and Cabling.
Experience with CREO and Windchill- Knowledgeable of GD&T
Familiar with Change Board processes and documentation controlPOSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Mechanical Engineer to support the design, development and manufacture of complex microwave electronics subsystems at our campus in Andover, Massachusetts.
- We incorporate the use of modern design tools in the relevant design disciplines of RF/microwave, analog/digital, and mechanical/thermal engineering.
- Also on premises are state-of-the-art electronics manufacturing facilities, and ESS test capabilities.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
- BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Experience with electronics packaging for microwave electronics.
•Experience with CREO, Windchill, Zuken. •Hands on experience with building and testing electronic assemblies. Knowledge of GD&T is preferred. Knowledge of materials and processes used in electronics is preferred.REQUIRED EDUCATION:
- Accredited AA Degree with 10 years experience or more
WORK HOURS:
- Full-Time
- 4/10 work schedule
- 1st Shift
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
