Chipton-Ross is seeking a Structural Design Engineer for a contract opportunity in Fort Worth, TX.



BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • Must have an active Secret Clearance
  • Must have at least 3 years of experience with armament (1 or more of the following: external stores/fuel tanks, pylons, pods)
  • Must have at least 5 years of recent experience with Structural design.
  • Must have at least 5 years of experience with Catia V5.
  • Must have at least 5 years of experience with Creation and/or modification of primary and secondary structural parts, assemblies, installations, and interface control models/documents.
  • POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Creation and/or modification of primary and secondary structural parts, assemblies, installations, and interface control models/documents.
  • Contributing to developing, testing, and validating aircraft structural designs.
  • Assisting in creating system requirements, trade studies, statements of work, and test plans.
  • Coordination with internal Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), with some interaction with external IPTs and suppliers.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

  • 5 years of experience with PDM is preferred.

  • 1st Shift


  • Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
