Chipton-Ross is seeking 4 Manufacturing Planner 3's for a contract opportunity in San Antonio, TX.
100% Onsite. Candidates must be local or willing to re-locate prior to start at own expense.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
o Ability to obtain security clearance is required for this position. o 5+years of Manufacturing Planner experience. o 5+ years of experience of CAD Software. o Ability to interpret and read 2d and 3d drawing and specs. o Analyze & Interpret Engr Data. o Manufacturing Engineering processes. o Proficient in computer skills including Microsoft. o Regular and predictable attendance is a requirement of this request.POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develops, implements and maintains various manufacturing plans, Bill of Materials, work instructions and illustrations to define and document as-built configuration. Develops manufacturing concepts and strategies to support business objectives. Supports mechanics to provide clarification related to planning and the applicable engineering drawings and specifications.
Develops and integrates suppliers, processes, materials, data and technology to meet manufacturing and delivery requirements. Reviews and approves supplier data to ensure manufacturing related requirements are met. Develops tooling requirements based on manufacturing and engineering requirements. Manages tools from initial design to end of use disposition. Investigates and resolves manufacturing related issues. Performs producibility assessments for part or product designs. Provides producibility input to design, manufacturing processes and manufacturing technologies to meet cost and schedules. Develops integrated work statements and sequencing of events to support delivery commitments. Drafts, updates and reviews processes and procedures to support business and regulatory agency requirements. Works under general direction.
Successful completion of training is a contingency for this assignment - OJT or formal classroom training.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
o Previous Client Planner Experience. o Gold ESP & MESCI experience. o Experience with IVT, REDARS, WIRS.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
The candidate must be able to go up and down stairs and work in confined spaces.REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor+1 years' related work experience, 5 years' related work experience, etc.).WORK HOURS:
Full-Time/First Shift 5:30 AM - 2:00 PMADDITIONAL:
OT/Weekend Work: As requiredEmployment will be contingent on clearing a background check. Must clear prior to start date.
