Chipton-Ross is seeking 4 Production/Inventory Coordinators (Level C) for a contract opportunity in New Orleans, LA.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
- Warehouse experience
- Experience and comfortable using a computer
- Crane or forklift certifications/experience
- Material handling
- Experience working inventory
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Processes and moves production and other materials into and out of storage, production and other locations to support complex production and product support activities, flight test, etc.
- System pulling work orders and delivering work orders to work areas.
- Lift work orders and materials in cranes/forklift.
- Forklift to move things around the floor to different shipping and receiving areas.
- Monitors and analyzes work in process.
- Updates status of parts and materials using automated systems. Identifies and reports problems and recommendations to insure parts availability.
- Analyzes problems and resolves or reconciles discrepancies with parts and materials to maintain inventory and system accuracy.
- Coordinates with various functions to set priorities, expedite and complete production activities to avoid schedule delays.
- Works under limited supervision.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Standing, moving around warehouse, comfortable standing and climbing ladders (10ft), the ability to lift up to 25 lbs
REQUIRED EDUCATION Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate+2 years' related work, Bachelor, etc.).
WORK HOURS FULL TIME/SECOND SHIFT: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM
ADDITIONAL This work assignment has been designated as "safety-sensitive" by the Client. Contractors assigned to safety-sensitive jobs at the Client site must first complete regulatory pre-placement requirements prior to reporting to assignment. Additionally, contractors assigned to safety-sensitive work will be subject to random drug and alcohol testing in accordance with federal mandates.Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
