Chipton-Ross is seeking 2 Systems Engineer 4's for a contract opportunity in St .Louis, MO.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
o Ability to obtain security clearance is required for this position. o Accredited Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (including manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science. o 7+ years of work-related engineering experience with a Bachelor's or 3+ years of work-related engineering experience with a relevant Master's or PhD. o Prior Systems Engineering experience to include but not limited to system design, functional decomposition, requirements development, analysis, verification, and validation. o Experience with MBSE, Cameo/MSOSA, and/or SysML. o Regular and predictable attendance is required.POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

As part of our team, you'll work closely with other Phantom Works entities and industry partners to help design, integrate, and field architectures and vehicle designs to keep our country on the leading edge of defense technologies. o Support/lead system architecture development and decomposition using MBSE (SysML/Cameo) to define interfaces, functions, and allocation across multiple domains. o Support/lead cross-functional engineering teams in developing systems to meet program commitments, including support of design reviews. o Support/lead the program in implementing MBSE as part of broad digital engineering ecosystem. o Support/lead Systems Engineering efforts such as requirements decomposition, system architecture, system analysis, specification development, trade studies, program planning, interfaces management, risk management, certification planning & execution, verification & test planning, and overall integration and capture them in the MBSE model as appropriate. This position is expected to be 100% on-site. The selected candidate will be required to work on-site at one of the listed location options.
Successful completion of training is a contingency for this assignment - OJT or formal classroom training.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
o Demonstrated experience developing system architectures for complex aerospace vehicles or subsystems using MBSE (SysML/MSOSA). o Prior leadership in system architecture or lead systems engineering roles; experience communicating architectural tradeoffs to stakeholders and customers. o Understanding of various engineering analyses, including affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory, certification, product assurance and other specialties quality factors into a preferred configuration to ensure mission success. o Familiarity with aircraft/flight systems and domain-specific engineering (ME, EE, SW) to evaluate integration impacts. o Active Secret Clearance.REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (including manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.WORK HOURS:
Full-Time/First Shift 8:00 AM - 5:00 PMEmployment will be contingent on clearing a background check. Must clear prior to start date.
