Chipton-Ross is seeking 40 Assemblers C for a contract opportunity in North Charleston, SC.
OnsiteBASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
o 7 years or more experience in aviation/aerospace. o 7 or more years' experience using software applications for internet navigation, email, Microsoft Suite and/or other specialized computer applications. o 7 or more years' experience utilizing and following detailed work instructions, reading, and interpreting blueprints, drawings, or specifications, in English. o 7 or more years' experience in a technical or mechanical field performing work with basic hand, power and/or pneumatic (air) tools. o 7 or more years' experience with hydraulic and pneumatic system design. o Regular and predictable attendance is required.POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs COMPLEX production assembly operations on structural parts, mechanical assemblies, subassemblies and aircraft systems, equipment and accessories using manual or automated assembly tools.
Top 3-5 Technical/Software Skills needed to perform this role/job:
o Install various parts and assemblies such as landing gear, aircraft control surfaces, exterior panels, carpets, blankets, roller trays/ball mats, stowbins, sidewalls, ceiling panels, lavatories, galleys, doors, and seats. o Install various aircraft system components such as tubing, valves, regulators, actuators, compressors, and ducts. o Use various hand tools and diagnostic equipment such as screwdrivers, ratchets, power screwdriver multi meters, continuity testers.
8-10 Weeks of Training. Dress Code Client South Carolina - Teamwear - Provided at the teamwear store.
Work statement is a non-managerial role, non-leadership role.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
o Ability to meet physical demands of the role such as: flexion/extension (head bent down, head bent back), handling, kneeling, bending at the waist, reaching (overhead), rotation of head/neck, standing, twisting at the waist and walking, climbing/balancing (stairs, ladders, poles, scaffolding, inclined surfaces), crawling, crouching (squatting). o Carry/Lift up to 35 pounds. o Ability to work with High Hazard Chemicals.REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate+2 years' related work, Bachelor, etc.).WORK HOURS:
MUST BE OPEN TO WORKING 1st, 2nd or 3rd SHIFT. Shift dependent on business need.PER CLIENT:
