Chipton-Ross is seeking a Test Engineer for a contract opportunity in Oldsmar, FL.



BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

Ability to review Power, RF, Digital and Analog test documents, including schematics, parts lists, drawings, and test requirements, to determine a method for testing a given device; then develop the detailed test procedure.

Ability to design and troubleshoot test fixtures to interface between the tester and the product.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide test engineering support to production program integrated product team (IPT’s). Define test process plans identifying the sequence of required test steps. Define required tools, instruments, fixtures, software, hardware, interfaces and test chambers required to execute the test process plan. Develop tests and generate detailed test procedures including narrative, diagrams and photographs. Generate detailed troubleshooting guides to aid in the troubleshooting and analysis of the root cause of test failures. Analyze test defect data and trends helping to define and implement corrective actions. Support change management activities of the production program IPT. Provide day-to-day test engineering support to the work cell by resolving technician questions, investigating and solving test and/or product performance problems, and improving test procedures, tooling, fixturing, hardware, software, etc. to optimize the test process

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

Experience with multiple industry automated tester platforms, National Instruments, Autotest, NHR etc.

5+ years experience with design and test of CCAs in multiple technologies (ie digital, analog, power, RF)

Software development experience, multiple test related languages.

Preferred Three to five years detailed CCA test and troubleshooting experience

Preferred Demonstrated experience with automated testers specifically Teradyne Spectrum 9100. L321, Autotest, National Instruments and National Research

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

Accredited Bachelor's Degree

Full-Time 4/10 work schedule 2nd Shift


Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
