Chipton-Ross is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist 2 for a contract/remote opportunity.



BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

o Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of supply chain experience. o Proficiency in Microsoft Office software suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.). o Strong written and verbal communication skills. o Strong data analysis skills. o Customer service oriented. o Must be detailed oriented. o Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP). o Ability to work in a team-oriented environment. o Possess strong time management skills and work independently. o Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize tasks. o Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. o Effective interpersonal skills to coordinate efforts and work with other internal and external organizations. o General knowledge of purchasing practices and policies, procedures, regulations and laws.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

o Administer sourcing and procurement activity of goods and services. o Administer RFI's, RFP's, RFQs, supplier/source selection, negotiation and awarding best value. o Coordinate with internal customers to ensure specifications and requirements are appropriate for the services or products required. o Generate transactional purchase orders and manage repository of procurement documentation. o Ensure compliance to company guidelines, purchasing policies and procedures. o Administer post-award supplier management activity. o Expedite purchase orders to provide on-time delivery to meet or exceed the contractual delivery dates. o Prepares, administers and maintains required documentation. o Effectively communicate (verbal and written) documentation of issues and resolutions to buyer and internal customers. o Utilize ERP systems to resolve open Purchase Order issues. o Work with suppliers, buyers and internal customers to obtain delivery timelines and any other information as required. o Coordinates with suppliers, buyers and internal customers. o Work effectively with accounts payable, operations, labs, and other internal customers to resolve issues, invoice discrepancies, shipping shortages and overages, other purchasing related problems. o Utilize technical skills to update, analyze, and validate data reports. o Monitor and review performance operational metrics and service level reporting. o Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited program.

WORK HOURS:

Full-Time 5/40 work week - 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Remote position.

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
