Chipton-Ross is seeking a SAP Functional Analyst/Lead for a hybrid contract opportunity in in Seattle, WA; Dallas, TX; Long Beach, CA; Miami, FL; North Charleston, SC; Berkeley, MO; or Hazelwood, MO.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
- 12+ years of experience in SAP QM Consulting
- 4+ years of experience with S/4HANA Quality Management
- Experience with at least 2 E2E full life cycle implementation in SAP S/4 HANA
- Experience with Quality Management in large and complex business environments
- Experience with the Quality integration of external systems
- Experience with SAP module specific User exits, batch jobs and standard SAP reports
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Functional Analyst will focus on the implementation and support of SAP projects based on S/4HANA. A successful candidate will understand the importance of collaboration as this position will focus on working directly with multiple stakeholders including the business, solution architects, and developers to implement SAP projects. Researches complex or multiple processes, applications, systems and data to identify functional requirements for application or system design. Consults with customers to clarify and refine complex requirements. Interprets and translates complex requirements into functional specifications. Leads and performs activities to develop and execute tests to validate system functionality against specifications. Duties may include (but are not limited to):
- Works with Requirement gathering, Document preparation, End-to-End Solution design, Functional Spec preparation, Realization and Deployment
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams comprising business Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), Architects, Developers and SIs (vendor consultants) on current processes and proposing solutions to enhance current systems for projects and products
- Identifies, recommends, and implements complex configuration solutions and implement full cycle configuration to meet business needs; create and update associated documentation
- Translates Functional Specifications into Application design documents, co-ordination with the team, testing of new functionality or Enhancements, Prepare Test plans and Test scripts, Perform Unit tests and integration tests
- Develops, reviews, and maintains functional/application design documents in collaboration with stakeholders and System Integrator (SI) partners
- Participates in the project delivery during testing cycles and lead the root cause analysis and correction of issues
- Works with the usage of the Signavio process modelling, JIRA, Tricentis tosca testing
- Works to handle and lead the development of WRICEF objects independently in collaboration with ABAP team.
- Works with SAP Project Systems
- Understands SAP Activate methodology and Agile (SAFe) development methods
- Understands the SAP testing tools and other SAP line of business products
- Contributes for overall project management plan using SAP Activate methodology
- Works with SAP S/4 Hana and FIORI
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
- Experience in SAP Quality Management via various inspection types 01/0101/03/04/05/06/07/08/0808/10/11/14/15/16/17
· Experience in Sample scheme/procedures, Dynamic modification, Inspection methods, Inspection plan, results/defect recording, usage decision, Quality notifications, Quality planning/inspections/certificates, quality control- SAP Activate methodology and Agile (SAFe) development methods
- Experience in cross functional integration with production planning(SAP PP), sales(SAP SD), procurement(SAP MM),warehouse (SAP EWM)
- Experience in the Aerospace and Defense industry
- SAP certifications in SAP S/4 PP, QM, MM is a plus
- Applicable and appropriate educational/certification credentials from an accredited institution and/or equivalent experience is required.
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Accredited education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience, 13 years' related work experience, etc.).TRAVEL:
Domestics Locations; St Louis, Seattle, other location on need basis.
WORK HOURS FULL TIME/FIRST SHIFT: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM HYBEmployment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
