Chipton-Ross is seeking a Logistics Engineer 2 for a contract opportunity in Pascagoula, MS.



BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • 2 Years with Bachelor's Degree in related field; 0 years of relevant professional experience with a Master's Degree. A combination of education and experience maybe substituted in lieu of degree.
  • POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Review and analyze equipment configuration requirements.
  • Knowledge of and ability to research Navy systems/equipment data to ensure correct requirements are loaded in the ships configuration database.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with U.S. Navy customers in resolving complex logistics and configuration issues.
  • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's Degree or relevant experience with US Navy ship systems and equipment configuration.
  • Candidate should have experience with MS Office, especially EXCEL.
  • Experience with navy equipment configuration for various ship classes and a working knowledge of shipboard compartment arrangements.
  • Experience with ILS Certifications, and Navy Data Environment (NDE).
  • REQUIRED EDUCATION:

    Bachelor's Degree in related field. School must be accredited.

    WORK HOURS:

    Full-Time 5/40, workweek 1st, 2nd, 3rd shift.


    Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
