Chipton-Ross is seeking a Project Management Specialist 2 for a contract opportunity in Berkeley, MO.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
- 1+ years' experience in program planning, project management, integrated scheduling, Industrial Engineering, Business Operations, and/or related disciplines.
- 1+ years' experience working with and partnering with cross-functional teams on projects and initiatives.
- 1+ years’ experience working with Microsoft Office Applications.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supports preparation, development, and coordination of an integrated plan and schedule to meet program and/or project requirements
- Assists with the development of program plans, and schedules and coordinates with affected organizations, documents work statements, and resulting schedules
- Supports the integration of program plans and schedules, horizontally and vertically, across company functions, product groups, suppliers, and partners of moderate complexity
- Identifies and reports performance variances
- Develops the Integrated Master Production Plan, and schedules and supports change incorporation plans related to Integrated Scheduling products
- Participates in the review of proposed changes to the baseline
Integrated Schedulers do tasks such as:
- Prepares, develops, coordinates, integrates, analyzes and maintains, integrated plans and schedules for proposals, projects, programs and major initiatives at all levels across functional value streams to meet program and/or project objectives.
- Tracks, plans, schedules and performs risk analysis for projects, programs and change activities throughout the lifecycle of a program.
- Performs studies/analysis and planning efforts, within and/or across programs/projects, organizations or business units to determine impacts, constraints and plans involving product development, production rates, process improvement, or program initiatives.
- Develops the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and supporting elements, and drives program planning in support of Program requirements and objectives.
- Performs integration of program plans and schedules, horizontally and vertically, across company functional, product groups, suppliers and partners.
- Identifies, analyzes and reports schedule performance variances. Performs schedule-related risk and opportunity analyses and provides potential solutions to management.
- Works with customers to develop performance recovery plans and incorporates in relevant documentation where appropriate.
- Performs schedule, event and change impact analysis.
- Oversees implementation planning for change requirements and ensures commitment of stakeholders.
- Develops and posts planning, scheduling and change related metrics/reports.
- Maintains disciplined revision control of all planning/schedule baselines.
This position will support Tooling and Fabrication Scheduling, where tasks specifically include:
- Scheduling of tool orders across multiple platforms and Programs (utilizing Manufacturing Execution, Tooling scheduling, and Demand systems.)
- Work with various stakeholders (Finance, Operations, Tooling Design, Program focals, Manufacturing Engineering, and more) to ensure alignment of tool orders for when work can be done in accordance with the Program need
- Develop Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) tasks for Program Critical Tools and help the Control Account Manager (CAM) oversee implementation (systems like MS Project and OPP)
- Work with Tooling Managers (CAMs) and their delegates, to understand their tasks in the IMS
- Build reports and share analysis of data to applicable managers as needed to drive decisions
- Raise awareness when plans start slipping or if seeing potential impact to downstream customers.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- 1+ years’ experience using Integrated Scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project, Open Plan Professional, Primavera, etc.
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
- Accredited Bachelor's degree and typically 3 or more years’ related work experience, a Master’s degree
and typically 1 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.WORK HOURS:
- Full-Time
- Regular and predictable attendance is required.
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
