Chipton-Ross is seeking a Programming Analyst for a hybrid contract opportunity in Santa Monica, CA.



BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • 1–2 years of experience in social analytics, digital reporting, or related internship/academic experience.
  • Understanding of social KPIs and platform ecosystems (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, X/Twitter).
  • Familiarity with analytics tools (Sprinklr, YouTube Analytics, Meta Insights, Google Analytics).
  • Ability to summarize data clearly for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Curious mindset with an interest in content performance and audience behavior.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
  • POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Produce weekly and monthly social performance reports across owned social channels and priority content initiatives.
  • Analyze social KPIs (views, engagement, retention, sentiment, share of voice, etc.) to surface meaningful insights and trends.
  • Monitor competitor and industry activity to contextualize platform shifts, content trends, and benchmarks.
  • Support deep-dive analytics for priority projects, including pre-launch, live campaign, and post-launch recaps.
  • Pull and clean data from analytics tools (Sprinklr, Tubular, CrowdTangle, YouTube/Meta analytics, etc.).
  • Summarize findings into clear storytelling to support programming recommendations.
  • Deliver weekly reporting with clear insights and recommended actions.
  • Identify and communicate platform or content trends.
  • Provide deep-dive analyses for select projects.
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency across reports.
  • Recommend workflow and visualization improvements when possible.
  • REQUIRED EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
  • WORK HOURS:

  • Full-Time- 08:00am-05:00pm


  • Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
