Chipton-Ross is seeking a Mechanical Engineer 3 for a contract opportunity in Pascagoula, MS.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
- 5 Years with Bachelors in Science; 3 Years with Masters, 0 years with PhD.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support DDG 51 Follow yard Services.
- Coordinate Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), Spec Change Notices (SCNs), Contract Attachment Change Notices (CACNs), and Contract Drawing Change Notices (CDCNs) with the functional/design disciplines of engineering.
- Provide technical data packages for these ECP's to Change Order for pricing.
- Support the Program Office in the development, status and technical explanation of changes with the customer.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
- Engineering experience and knowledge of shipboard systems, design products and scoping process for DDG 51 Class Ships is preferred
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Bachelor of Science degree in related field.WORK HOURS:
Full-Time 5/40, workweek 1st, 2nd, 3rd shift.Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
