Chipton-Ross is seeking a/an/multiple for a contract opportunity in City, State.



BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • Ability to obtain a US Secret Security Clearance which requires US Citizenship
  • 4+ years experience and knowledge in developing, proposing, managing, implementing testing products and system solutions in power systems or related including:
  • Naval power or power conversion systems
    • Military production products with complex electro-mechanical assemblies
  • Production product lifecycle management
  • 4+ years experience in temperature, humidity, shock and vibration testing and certification
  • 1+ year experience leadership and direct participation in technical proposal development, cost estimation and manpower planning
  • Previous DOD engineering development experience
  • Requirements analysis and definition experience
    • EVM/CAM experience
  • 2+ years of experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools
  • 2+ years of experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tools

    • POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Key interface between the Engineering team and Program Management departments
  • Ensures all technical performance, cost and schedule goals on the program are met
  • Acting as an advisor to senior management and customers on advanced technical studies and/or applications
  • Identifying and managing program technical risks
  • Establishing schedule, resource, budget, and tool requirements for tasks
  • Ensuring engineering processes are followed on projects

    • REQUIRED EDUCATION:

  • Accredited Bachelors Degree (Systems, Electrical, Mechanical, or Computer Engineering, or Mathematics, Computer Science) and minimum 6 years of relevant prior experience, inclusive of 1 year of leadership experience,
    • or Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience, Or in lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience

    WORK HOURS:

  • Full-Time
  • 9/80 work schedule
  • 1st Shift


    • Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
