Chipton-Ross is seeking 4 Systems Engineer 4's for a contract opportunity in Everett, WA.



BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

o Accredited Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science. o 10+ years' experience performing complex engineering or system integration work. o 7+ years' experience in leading and/or managing complex projects. o 5+ years of experience developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with senior executives, customers, stakeholders, peers and business partners. o 9+ years' experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. o Regular and predictable attendance is required.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

The 777-9 Systems Integration team is seeking a Lead level Systems Engineer to work as a Technical Program Integration Manager (TPIM). This role will support Systems IPT projects and initiatives critical to achieving 777-9 Amended Type Certification. The TPIM role will focus on cross-functional, multi-disciple technical risks and issues, with particular focus on items that are critical to achieving certification milestones. The engineer will be responsible for one or more projects and will provide technical, business and integration leadership for the Systems IPT on issues requiring cross-functional and cross-organization leadership. You should be willing to take on projects that you may not have a full technical understanding of and stretch beyond your experience base.

o Lead special projects and initiatives to progress systems maturity towards 777-9 type certification (ATC) and entry into service (EIS) as well as System IPT level issues as assigned by the Directors of Engineering. o Develop integrated plans, establish and lead teams, monitor and respond to technical developments throughout the life of a certification and customer introduction program. o Communicate routinely with internal and external stakeholders including peers, executive leadership, regulators, and/or suppliers. o Manage risk & opportunities, and support cross-functional & cross-Integrated Product Team issues. o Lead detailed investigations to ensure system integration and compliance, with requirements and to define plans to mitigate technical risks and issues. o Lead cross-functional technical integration, certification and project management in support of resolving complex issues to help certify and deliver airplanes, resolve supply chain issues, mitigate risks, and actualize opportunities.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.

Successful completion of training is a contingency for this assignment - OJT or formal classroom training.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

o 7+ years of experience with Transport, Client 7-Series and/or McDonnell Douglas Aircraft. o 5+ years of experience with US and/or foreign aircraft certification/regulatory processes. o 14+ years' experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. o Good communication skills and a self-starter that takes initiatives without supervision. o Adaptable and able to operate in a dynamic environment to meet objectives on time. o Certification and/or experience working with FAA regulations and Regulatory Administration. o Project Management exposure / experience (e.g., Project Management Body of Knowledge [PMBOK], ANSI/PMI 99-001-2008). o Ability to quickly analyze, understand, organize and communicate complex technical concepts/problems across multiple disciplines. o Experience with leading major design changes through multiple phases of product and certification lifecycle. o Ability to work out of comfort zone, where process definition does not exist or is unclear. o Take ownership/initiative, pull teams together, establish battle rhythm and remove roadblocks.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

Minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.

WORK HOURS:

Full-Time/First Shift 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM


Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
