Chipton-Ross is seeking an Engineering Aide for a contract opportunity in Orlando, FL.



BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • Must have the ability to obtain a government security clearance
  • 2-3 Year Basic knowledge of engineering principles and practices.
  • 2-3 Year Familiarity with engineering documentation standards and practices.
  • 2-3 Year Knowledge of laboratory testing procedures and data recording practices.
  • 2-3 Years hands-on experience with wiring, and fabrication of cables and wire harnesses
  • Ability to interpret schematics, blueprints, and diagrams
  • POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • The fabrication of wiring harnesses will require connector pinning, de-pinning, and applying mounting hardware.
  • In addition, these lower-level assemblies are to be built-up into single, or multi-bay cabinet assemblies, for the delivery to Engineering or Manufacturing Production areas.
  • This position will provide the opportunity for the candidate to work as individual contributor, in a team environment.
  • This would include collaborating with Engineers, and other members of the Fabrication team including other Fabricators, Draftsmen, Procurement, and Quality Inspectors.
  • REQUIRED EDUCATION:

    Accredited HSD/GED

    WORK HOURS:

    Full-Time 4/10 work schedule 1st Shift


    Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
