Chipton-Ross is seeking 10 Production Engineers 3's for a contract opportunity in Everett, WA.
100% Onsite.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
o Accredited Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry. o Experience working in an engineering discipline. o Experience working in a manufacturing/ production environment.POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Client is hiring Manufacturing Engineers to support our production teams in Everett, WA. Successful candidates will have the ability to learn in a fast-paced environment, and the ability to collaborate with both the engineering teams and mechanics on the factory floor.
o Assists in the development and implementation of production and tooling methodologies. o Participates as a member of an Integrated Product Team (IPT) in the integration of technical solutions. o Works with others to develop, identify and implement conceptual designs and maintenance of the program architecture for build. o Assists in implementing manufacturing plans. o Resolves technical problems and assists in the implementation of new engineering principles, theories, advanced technologies and concepts. o Assists in the implementation of Lean principles and technologies. o Interfaces with professional associations, suppliers, IPTs and internal customers to develop products, skills, knowledge and experience.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
o Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry o Experience working in an engineering discipline. o Experience working in a manufacturing/ production environment.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
This position is a Production Engineering role and requires direct interfacing with the people, parts, and equipment on the production floor. A typical day could include:
o Spending up to 8 hours on feet standing/walking on the production floor. o Climbing ladders or stairs to access equipment or airplane sections. o Working at heights or in tight spaces. o Wearing required PPE.REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree and typically 5 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a Master's degree with typically 3 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a PhD degree with experience in an engineering classification.WORK HOURS:
Full-Time/First Shift 6:30 AM - 3:00 AMEmployment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
