Chipton-Ross is seeking a Project Management Specialist 3 for a contract opportunity in Seattle, WA.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
- Experience in managing complex project schedules and managing large scale program and projects.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong executive presentation skills.
- Hands-on experience with one or more. dashboarding/data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI, Grafana) and basic SQL skills for querying data sources.
- 5+ years in program/product/technical program management, analytics program management, or similar role.
- 5+ years’ experience in advising and influencing managers or non-managers to meet schedules or resolve technical or operational problems.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- KPIs management: Lead definition and prioritization of organizational performance KPIs and dashboard requirements with cross-functional partners.
- Design, build, and maintain centralized dashboards that surface trends, highlight wins, and flag areas needing focus.
- Implement and govern a metrics tracking framework: data sources, instrumentation, data quality checks, and change control.
- Drive a regular reporting cadence (reviews, scorecards, ops reports) and synthesize insights for leadership and teams.
- Coach stakeholders on using dashboards effectively for planning, retrospectives, and continuous improvement.
- Workflow Management: Implement and roll out organization-wide workflow management processes: evaluate and adopt new workflow tools, define and document end-to-end processes, drive change management, and train teams to ensure consistent usage and process compliance.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive project plans aligned with our organizational objectives, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to timelines.
- Leadership and Team Integration: Lead cross-functional project teams, fostering collaboration and motivation to achieve project milestones and deliverables.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and proactively implement mitigation strategies to ensure the successful execution of projects.
- Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate project status, updates, and potential issues to key stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment with organizational goals.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive a culture of continuous improvement, seeking opportunities to optimize project processes and enhance overall project management practices within the aerospace domain.
- Network Systems Expertise: Demonstrate an understanding of aerospace network systems, ensuring the successful integration and functionality of digital connectivity solutions within the aerospace environment.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
- PMP or Project Management Certification.
- Experience with Microsoft Project and other work management tools, such as JIRA or Azure Dev Ops (ADO).
- Experience working with international teams and stakeholders.
- Background in change management and enabling organizations to adopt dashboards and data-driven processes.
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations.
- Master's degree in a related field.
- Experience with scripting or automation (Python, SQL automation, or similar) to maintain ETL/ingestion tasks..
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
- Bachelor's and typically 6 or more years’ related work
experience, a Master’s degree and typically 4 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.WORK HOURS:
- Full-Time
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
