Chipton-Ross is seeking a 2 Tooling Inspectors for a contract opportunity in Nashville, TN.
Inspector - Tooling and Parts. The primary focus of this role is laser tracking.
Key Qualifications:
Hands-on experience with FARO and Leica laser tracking systems
Strong metrology and precision measurement skills
Ability to read and interpret blueprints with GD&T
Machining experience a plus, particularly with 3-axis and Bridgeport machines
Role Overview:
The contractors will perform precise inspection of tooling and parts using laser trackers, ensure components meet specifications, document results, and work closely with engineering and production teams. Aerospace or high-precision manufacturing experience is a bonus. The role is 100% on-site.
Education HSD or GED required
Work Schedule Must be able to work a 5/40 or 4/10 schedule. 1st Shift.Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
