Chipton-Ross is seeking a Software Engineer for a remote contract opportunity.



BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • Minimum 6 years direct experience in design/build (configuration) of the IBM Tririga Integrated Workspace Management Solutions (IWMS) product, internally branded as Must possess knowledge of data modeler, form builder, association manager, workflow builder, navigation builder, portal builder, and report manager.
  • Minimum 6 years prior work experience in implementing software solutions; specifically, the translation of business requirements into software capabilities.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in a software solution configuration environment that included high levels of team collaboration and reflects the capability to perform task prioritization in a multi-threaded parallel work-stream environment.
  • Participating experience in control boards such as Change Control Board, Engineering Review Board, or Defect Review Board.
  • Knowledge of Facilities processes in Space Management, Project Management and Maintenance/Operation Management.
  • POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Prioritize and manage change requests (CRIs) using a change request log, priority ratings, and personal judgment to determine task order. Handle CRIs primarily created by module leads (Business Analysts) and assigned to developers, evaluating urgency and impact on the Tririga application. Update, maintain, and create workflows within Tririga to ensure proper functionality for forms and business objects. Build and enhance UX applications using Polymer 1, Polymer 3, and React, utilizing JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and related technologies. Occasionally modify or create BIRT reports (Eclipse) to manipulate data beyond Tririga’s standard capabilities. Occasionally modify or create class loaders using Java to manipulate data beyond Tririga’s standard capabilities. Write SQL code in SQL Server and maintain databases where all Tririga data resides. Develop custom SQL queries to support modules, business objects, and visualization tools such as Tableau. Communicate with module leads and management to discuss issues, propose solutions, and clarify CRI requirements. Provide clear updates and explanations when working assigned CRIs or explaining why certain requests are not feasible.

    Respond quickly to unexpected issues to maintain system stability and prevent downtime. Implement rapid fixes as needed to support demonstrations or ensure uninterrupted operation of LMBuildings.

    Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
