Chipton-Ross is seeking multiple Sub-Assembly Mechanics for a contract opportunity in Torrance, CA.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
- 2-3 years of experience
- Ability to read and comprehend Company Quality Manual, Operating Procedures Manual and Repair Station Manuals, Assembly Orders, blueprints, CLient
- Process Specifications and Regulatory (FAA) requirements.
- Good knowledge of tools and measuring equipment.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Mechanics build components and determine dimensions and torques using calipers, torque wrenches and other measuring equipment.
- Mechanics use testing equipment such as OHM meters and pyrometers and various bench testing appliances.
- Mechanics must use solvent washing tanks to clean parts prior to assembly, and apply paints, primers or coatings to the finished product.
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
- Accredited HSD/GED
WORK HOURS:
- Full-Time
- 1st Shift
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
