Chipton-Ross is seeking multiple Sub-Assembly Mechanics for a contract opportunity in Torrance, CA.



BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • 2-3 years of experience
  • Ability to read and comprehend Company Quality Manual, Operating Procedures Manual and Repair Station Manuals, Assembly Orders, blueprints, CLient
  • Process Specifications and Regulatory (FAA) requirements.
  • Good knowledge of tools and measuring equipment.
  • POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Mechanics build components and determine dimensions and torques using calipers, torque wrenches and other measuring equipment.
  • Mechanics use testing equipment such as OHM meters and pyrometers and various bench testing appliances.
  • Mechanics must use solvent washing tanks to clean parts prior to assembly, and apply paints, primers or coatings to the finished product.
  • REQUIRED EDUCATION:

  • Accredited HSD/GED
  • WORK HOURS:

  • Full-Time
  • 1st Shift


  • Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
