Chipton-Ross is seeking an APG Mechanic for a contract opportunity in Greenville, SC.



BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • Landing gear
  • Powerplants
  • Flight controls
  • Fueling/Defueling
  • Aircraft movement/Launch & Recovery
  • 6+ Years of recent aircraft experience (fighter preferred but not required).
  • Aircraft Flightline Experience is highly preferred. preference will be given to candidates with flightline experience

    • POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for incoming and outgoing flight operations, follow on maintenance and routine trouble shooting.
  • Mechanic will perform/assist with all launch, recovery, preflight/thru flight/Basic Post Flight inspections, ground handling, maintenance, engine runs, operational checkouts, and servicing.
  • Perform routine troubleshooting, installation, repair and maintenance of all electro-mechanical and Pnuedralic systems and components on the aircraft.
  • Responsible for the acceptableness of all electrical, hydraulic-pneumatic, propulsion, landing gear, flight control surfaces and periodic inspections, general airframe condition, aircraft furnishings and crew escape system of the aircraft.
  • Will be required to remove panels and associated hardware to obtain access equipment requiring repair.

    • REQUIRED EDUCATION:

  • Accredited HSD/GED

    • WORK HOURS:

  • Full-Time
  • 4/10 work schedule
  • Must be able to work 1st or 2nd shift. Final shift is assigned after training based of team need
  • 1st Shift - Mon. thru Thurs.; 5:30 AM to 4:00 PM
  • 2nd Shift - Mon. thru Thurs.; 3:00 PM to 1:30 AM


    • Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
