Chipton-Ross is seeking an Avionic Technician for a contract opportunity in Greenville, SC.



BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • Fighter Aircraft Experience is Preferred, but not required heavy Electrical/MOD experience is accepted
  • Avionics/Harness Mod Experience in required
  • Clearance not required to start , but is a plus if you have active.
  • 4+ years of recent soldering experience is required (Must be able to pass soldering test/training! )
  • 6+ years of solid electrical/AVI experience,
  • POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • You will be responsible for Flight Operations, testing/installing electrical harnesses/components, routing various wire/cables, Terminating cables/wires, and performing operational checks to ensure flight readiness.
  • You may also be required to troubleshoot and repairing electrical and avionics systems based on area team.
  • You will sometimes perform other duties such as general mechanic installs, testing, and inspections.
  • REQUIRED EDUCATION:

  • Accredited HSD/GED
  • WORK HOURS:

  • Full-Time
  • 4/10 work schedule
  • Must be able to work 1st or 2nd shift or weekend. Final shift is assigned after training based of team need
  • 1st Shift - Mon. thru Thurs.; 6;00 AM to 4:30 PM 2nd Shift - Mon. thru Thurs.; 4:30 PM to 3:00 AM Weekend Shift- Thurs-Sun.; 6;00 AM to 4:30 PM


    Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
