Chipton-Ross is seeking 3 Product Acceptance Specialist (Level A) for a contract opportunity in San Antonio, TX.



BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • 1+ years of experience in Aerospace, Manufacturing, Quality or experience in a regulated industry
  • 1+ years of experience using SAP
  • 1+ years of experience in quality inspection
  • Regular and predictable attendance is required

    • POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Primary role will be to perform complete part inspections on customer orders, determine FAA approval type and part application. Complete 8130-3 and non-regulatory documentation (ATA 106). Responsible for timeliness and accuracy of orders to ensure customer satisfaction. Work in other QA areas as directed by QA Leadership. Route work according to its weight requirement and re-direct if necessary. Complete verification compliant to Customer flow down requirements. Enter information in SAP and scan material in and out of QA. Some additional task that are assigned by the Manager may be required. Work statement is a non-managerial role, non-leadership role. Duties may include (but are not limited to):
  • Verifies product conformance requirements
  • Perform physical product inspections, and validate documentation for accuracy
  • Validate FAA Type Approval code for customer product
  • Segregates and controls all non-conforming items
  • Scan product to inspector’s line for product inspection

    • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

  • 1+ years of experience working in a cross functional work environment

    • PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Lift up to 35lbs

    • REQUIRED EDUCATION:

    Minimum level of education required is a High School Diploma/GED.

    WORK HOURS FULL TIME/VARIABLE SHIFT; All submitted candidates should be available to work variable shifts based on business need (1st & 2nd).

    Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
