Chipton-Ross is seeking 2 Supply Chain Specialist 2's for a contract opportunity in San Antonio, TX.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
o Ability to obtain security clearance is required for this position. o 1+ years of experience in Supply Chain. o 1+ years of experience working with cross functional teams. o 1+ years of experience working with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, and SharePoint. o Regular and predictable attendance is a requirement of this request.POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Client is looking for an Associate Supply Chain Specialist to join our Team in San Antonio, TX.
The position will consist of ensuring on-time delivery and delinquency recoveries of transactional spares support of the Government Services Programs. The successful candidates will be expected to serve as the primary execution support focal for assigned delivery requirements and support U.S. and Non-U. S Government Military customers.
o Validating shop/supplier schedules and ensure schedules are performing to plan. o Ensure data in systems accurately reflects current status. o Developing solutions to complex problems that are consistent with organizational objectives. o Perform Root Cause Analysis/end of month escapes analysis. o The candidate will serve as a primary focal and external spokesperson for their orders and be expected to brief leadership on major matters pertaining to the performance and delivery of their transactional spare requirements. o Assist in identification and resolution of supply chain management constraints, discrepancies, and risks that impact on-time delivery and revenue capture. o Assist in monitoring performance metrics, perform trend analysis and take mitigating action to meet performance objectives. o Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously to ensure strong financial performance and on-time delivery of spares contracts. o Primary systems and tool's include PC Queries, GOLD, and Microsoft Excel.
Work statement is a non-managerial role, non-leadership role. Successful completion of training is a contingency for this assignment - OJT or formal classroom training.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
o Experience in Supplier Management Best Practices. o Experience in understanding Supply Chain Constraints.REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+1 years' related work experience, 7 years' related work experience, etc.).WORK HOURS:
Full-Time/Second Shift 2:30 PM - 11:00 PMADDITIONAL:
The candidate selected to fill this assignment must successfully pass a credit check performed by client. OT/weekend work: As required.Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
