Description

Chipton-Ross is seeking an Assembler for a contract opportunity in Orlando, FL.



BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

•Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to understand and operate simple machinery
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
    • •Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment and meet deadlines •Basic computer skills and ability to operate label printing software •Ability to work in a team environment and follow established safety protocols •Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Understanding of electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
    • vAbility to identify and interpret dimensions, tolerances, and other specifications

    POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Read and interpret detailed label charts, work instructions, and part lists
  • Verify that the correct revision and version of each chart are being used
  • Select, position, and affix the appropriate labels to cables, connectors, and related assets
  • Ensure labels are legible, properly oriented, and securely attached
  • Perform visual inspections to confirm correct labeling and placement
  • Conduct spot checks against reference documentation; report any discrepancies
  • Record labeling activities in the production tracking system (e.g., MES, SAP)
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to 6S standards
    • •Follow established safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
  • Collaborate with production team members to meet production deadlines and achieve quality goals

    • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

    Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment Familiarity with wire cutting and label printing equipment Basic knowledge of electrical assemblies and wiring configurations Certification in a related field, such as IPC

    REQUIRED EDUCATION:

  • Accredited HSD/GED

  • Full-Time
  • 4/10 work schedule
  • 1st Shift


    • Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
