Chipton-Ross is seeking 2 Shipside Operations Specialist 2's for a contract opportunity in San Antonio, TX.



100% onsite

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

Regular and predictable attendance is required. 1+ years of Aerospace, Fabrication, or Manufacturing experience. 1+ years of experience with operations analysis or operations research. 1+ years of experience with root cause analysis and corrective action. Must have analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist with activities across multiple functions to coordinate resolution of emergent issues in support of specific operations. Conducts assessments of processes and practices for comparison to applicable standards and criteria. Provides limited feedback on assessment results. Support the teammates in implementation of strategies and plans. Works under general supervision.

  • Use technical knowledge, understanding of process flow, and networking skills to ensure issues are addressed and resolved by responsible support organization.
  • Conducts assessments of processes and practices for comparison to applicable standards and criteria.
  • Analyzes and interprets data.
  • Provides feedback on assessment results.
  • Assist organizations in identifying recurring and high impact issues.
  • Supports root cause analysis and corrective action plan to address recurring and high impact issues.
  • Facilitate ongoing coordination and tracking of open items.
  • Provide guidance and coaching to less experienced teammates.
  • Works under general direction.
  • Successful completion of training is a contingency for all assignments? Yes, OTJ and classroom.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

  • 3+ years' experience utilizing Microsoft Office applications such as SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project.
  • 3+ years' experience in the airline/aerospace industry.
  • Experience working with customers.
  • REQUIRED EDUCATION:

    Accredited High School or GED.

    WORK HOURS:

    4th Variable Shift, will support 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift.

    PER CLIENT:

    Candidates who do not have the flexibility to work all shifts or variable shifts should not apply for this opportunity.

    ADDITIONAL:

    This work assignment has been designated as "safety sensitive" by the Client. Contractors assigned to safety sensitive jobs at the Client site must first complete regulatory preplacement requirements prior to reporting to assignment. Additionally, contractors assigned to safety sensitive work will be subject to random drug and alcohol testing in accordance with federal mandates. OT will be required, nights and weekends.


    Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
